Great Hotel let down a little by poor breakfast service on a couple of mornings and new 'nickel & diming' for the 'putting gree

Great Hotel , and our second stay. Cleaning staff (Maria), Doormen (Antonio & Javier) and reception staff were all superb. Our adult son has diabetes and is lactose intolerant. They catered magnificently for him. Hotel gardens are superb, and they have 2 black swans!! We went to the Spa a number of times - again excellent service and the thermal circuit explained well!! Our two minor complaints are; 1. Outside breakfast service very understaffed. Wednesday morning was almost impossible to get pots of coffee, hot water and milk, and I eventually cleared the table myself of all our dishes!! Thursday was slightly better, although we were a bit fed up being ignored. Service was understaffed. 2. They charged €60 for 4 to play the putting green. Putting green was terrible, full of black moss and very rough. A 5⭐️ Hotel should be embarrassed... and charging 🤪🤦‍♂️ On positive notes again, a Harris Hawk 🦅 was in the Breakfast Garden on Thursday morning. Wonderful bird. On Wednesday morning cutting palm tree leaves 🌴 was great entertainment... expertly done! Great Hotel - highly recommended 😇🤩
