Deserving of its 5 stars!
Great room - very spacious with generous balcony (213). Pillow selection is a nice touch. Very helpful staff. Beautifully clean and well maintained public areas and gardens. Very comprehensive breakfast buffet. We really appreciated the courtesy bus to and from the seafront. Choice of 3 restaurants - we sampled two, that were very good. Local restaurants easily walkable for more casual dining. Location is good, being above the old town and therefore a little quieter. Unexpectedly gift of cake and bubbles on my birthday was a lovely surprise. Possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Very happy to recommend. Very happy to recommend.
