A little piece of paradise
We have just returned from two weeks in the fabulous Hotel Botanico in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. We like this hotel so much that we have returned time and again. The welcome we receive from the staff, many of whom have been there many years, is amazing. They are all so friendly, charming and approachable whilst being most efficient and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. From the bell-boy to the pool-attendant, the reception staff to housekeeping, the bar and restaurant staff, all are amazing. It is obvious that the recruitment and training processes are top notch. The management are ever discreetly present ensuring that the highest standards are maintained. There is a choice of rooms, and a choice of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Added to this the well deserved 5-star rating means guests are left feeling pampered. The hotel also has a very luxurious and highly rated spa, which would require a chapter of its own. We will be back for our winter sunshine again, I hope soon.
