A cloud over a great experience.
We booked all inclusive tickets and a transfer from puerto de la cruz. We went on a tuesday and was worried about getting fast pass due to our bus getting us in at 10:30 from puerto de la cruz, so we booked vip, but the €38 fast pass didnt sell out all day. The bus was €21 return, in for 10:30 and leaves at 6, so good value as you get all day. As per the website I rang ahead to reserve my seat but I don’t know if it was necessary because we bought tickets and the woman on the phone seemed to not know what I was on about, which added some stress but it all worked out and the bus arrived. Got there and got our vip, was smooth with little queue due to it being 10:30. Went towards the floating market and was forced to walk through workers taking pictures as they had closed off the diversion around it. They were pushy for you to get a picture but you can walk past, created a slow crowd. We got water shoes but I saw people with flip flops on their arms on some slides so really not necessary. We had lots of fun on the slides and we ate lots of food being all inclusive. Some of the slides were really anticlimactic but we didn’t care as we were fast pass. The normal queues werent long either, longest like 10-15 all day. We heard tuesdays are quieter and it was which was good (although we didnt feel slightly wasted with the fast pass). Wave pool was also anticlimactic, a big wave every like 2 mins for 20 mins. But we still had lots of fun. The park layout was a nightmare but I did enjoy the amount of greenery. Was like climbing mountains to get to some slides but was so worth it. Finished a great day on a terrible note though. In the lazy river one of the workers took our picture which I personally was not wanting but as a respectful person I didnt want to shout no at her, I just let her do her job. Leaving the park there was a big stand of pictures so we were like lets just have a look. Terrible picture for €8, with my face in it I clearly didn't want a picture. The staff handed it to us to look at, we looked and then went to hand it back and said we are ok thanks. She prepared the card machine and we again said no thanks, she said why not, in a completely rude tone, I was absolutely appalled by her behaviour. We said its not appealing picture and that it is a joke of a price. She said a no would be better next time and that shes been working 10 hours and started walking away. A stupid comment as they are incredibly pushy about getting a picture you feel like you are forced to get one. I have never been so disrespected by a service worker in my life. The way she spoke was filled with attitude and hatred. She needs be to cleansed of her rage filled aura. Completely overshadowed a great day. The staff at the park didn’t seem the friendliest but I didn’t mind because they’re just doing their job, but she took it to another level. With the amount we paid already I didn't want to pay into some more money grabbing tat. Allover, a visit is worth it, personally this will be one time as we experienced it all. Had lots of fun.
Siam Park
Thank you for sharing such a detailed and balanced review. We’re very glad to know that, overall, the day was enjoyable and that the park, attractions, food options and atmosphere helped create a fun experience. At the same time, we are truly sorry that the final interaction left such a negative impression. Photo services should always feel optional, friendly and pressure-free. Guests must feel comfortable saying no, and any response from our team should remain polite and professional at all times. Your comments will be passed on to the relevant department so they can review the situation internally and reinforce the standards we expect from everyone representing Siam Park. We also appreciate the feedback regarding the transfer communication and the flow around photo points. These details matter, especially before and during a busy day out, and we understand how small moments of confusion or pressure can affect the overall feeling of the visit. Regarding Fast Pass and waiting times, demand can vary a lot depending on the season, day of the week and attendance. On quieter days, queues may move very quickly, while in peak periods — as happens in many successful theme and water parks — Fast Pass can make a much bigger difference. We always recommend choosing the option that gives each guest the most peace of mind for their plans. It’s good to hear that the park was still worth visiting and that there were plenty of fun moments throughout the day. We hope that, despite the disappointing ending, the memories of the slides, scenery and overall experience remain the stronger part of your visit.
