Fantastic water park

Myself, my husband and 8 year old twin nephews visited Siam park during a family holiday in Tenerife. First things first, it's an expensive day out. The entrance fee is expensive costing €152 (and there are even more expensive entrance fee options) for the four of us. Then it was an extra €10 for a locker and lunch cost in excess of €50. Then there's drinks needed throughout the day and, naturally, the kids wanted to pay inflated prices for souvenirs from the gift shop. In total, we spent well over €250 for this one day visit to the waterpark and it was by far our most expensive day out whilst in Tenerife. Having said that, it was also everyone's favourite day out! The park itself is beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. It's almost like walking around a lush botanical garden where, every now and again, you find an entrance to one of the best water slides you've ever been on. The slides here are fantastic, above and beyond any waterslide at any other water park I've ever visited. These water slides are not for the faint hearted and are a real adrenaline rush (and loads of fun). When you need to give your legs and heart rate a rest, there's the lovely lazy river you can happily float around in for hours as well as a man made beach with loads of sun beds around a huge wave pool. The downside is, despite being in the park for opening and leaving the park at closing (10am-6pm), we didn't get to do everything we wanted to do and if you do want to ride all the slides, spend time in the lazy river and bob around in the wave pool you need to either dedicate a couple of days to the park or fork out the hefty fast pass prices. We didn't do either and whilst we didn't visit during peak times and the longest queue for a slide we encountered was around 40 minutes (with most being 10-20 minutes), the park is so big and the queue paths so long and steep that unless you're in peak physical condition you still need to fit in plenty of rest stops inbetween slides. This was especially true with children and the heat! We simply could not fit everything in unfortunately. The kids want to go back to Tenerife purely to visit Siam park again and to be honest, I can't blame them. Highly recommend if you enjoy water parks. Just be prepared for the expense, queues and lots of walking.
