Not individual
I was extremely disappointed by the lack of disability inclusion during my visit. Despite providing a medical letter confirming I cannot stand for long periods, I was refused access to the virtual queuing system. I was told that only guests with autism or Down’s syndrome qualify — a statement that is both incorrect and discriminatory. Accessibility should be based on individual needs, not a restricted list of diagnoses. Under the Equality Act, reasonable adjustments must be considered for all disabilities, and a blanket rule like this excludes many people with genuine medical requirements. When I asked for a manager, I was simply told, “That’s what we’re told,” with no willingness to review the policy, consider the medical evidence, or offer any alternative support. For a venue that promotes itself as the “Number 1 water park,” the customer service and disability awareness were far below expectations. This experience left me feeling dismissed and unfairly treated. I hope the park urgently reviews its accessibility policy so that all disabled guests are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity.
Siam Park
Thank you for taking the time to share this. Accessibility is a very serious matter for us, and we are sorry that the support and explanations offered during the visit did not make you feel properly listened to. Siam Park has specific procedures for guests with functional diversity, including reduced admission in eligible cases and additional assistance options where our operating and safety criteria allow it. Some services, such as priority access, are limited to particular situations because they must be managed consistently, safely and fairly for all visitors. That said, the way this information is communicated is just as important as the policy itself. No guest should leave feeling dismissed. Your comments will be passed to the relevant departments so the team can review both the clarity of our accessibility information and the training around how these conversations are handled. We remain committed to treating every guest with respect, dignity and care.
