ASN DISASTER
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Siam Park. As someone with ADHD, I went to guest services to obtain the disability fast pass system so I could enjoy the park without becoming overwhelmed by the long queues. The staff initially provided the pass, but then informed me that in order to use it I would have to go through all of the queues I had already completed earlier in the day, and do so without my boyfriend accompanying me. For a neurodivergent person, this was incredibly distressing. Being separated from my support person and being forced to repeat queues I had already endured completely defeated the purpose of requesting disability assistance in the first place. The situation triggered a major panic attack and left me feeling unsupported, embarrassed, and unable to enjoy the rest of my visit. What shocked me most was the lack of understanding and empathy shown by the staff. Disability accommodations should make attractions more accessible, not create additional barriers and anxiety. I expected much better from a world-renowned attraction. I hope Siam Park reviews its disability policies and provides better staff training on neurodivergent conditions and hidden disabilities so that other visitors do not have a similar experience.
