Great first trip to Loro Parque

During our recent trip to Tenerife we decided on an excursion to Loro Parque. We were completely amazed by the animals, cleanliness, and education given throughout. It is on the northern side of the island, and very near the coast. The animals all appeared to be well cared for, it was clean, tidy, and a great experience. The food options for a zoo are great too - there's plenty of snack stands, along with quick service restaurants with impressive options. It's not expensive while in the parc, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The parc was busy, so if you want to catch a show, get there early. The Orca Show was very educational, and helps you understand why they are there. The sea lion show was more fun and engaging - but overall a fantastic day out.
