Siam Park (820)

Overpriced and overcrowded, would not recommend

Siam Park is often marketed as one of the best waterparks in the world, but my experience was extremely disappointing and, frankly, poor value for money. From the outset, the pricing feels excessive. The basic entry ticket is already expensive, but once inside, it becomes clear that this only covers the bare minimum. The park operates heavily on upselling, particularly through its “fast pass” system. The standard fast pass costs around €40 per person, yet it only allows one priority access per ride. After that, you are back to the regular queues, which are often very long. Even with a fast pass, we still experienced waits of up to 40 minutes, which defeats the purpose entirely. If you want unlimited fast access, you are pushed toward the €99 “fast pass unlimited” option. For a family, this quickly becomes unreasonable. In our case, the total would have reached around €1,350 for the day before even considering food, drinks, or transport. Even with a more limited option, we still ended up spending €680, which felt completely unjustified for the level of enjoyment we actually got. Queue management throughout the park is another major issue. Wait times are consistently long, and the system is inefficient. Many rides require groups of two or four, which creates problems for odd-numbered groups. This leads to either splitting up or waiting even longer, with no real effort from staff to manage this fairly. To make matters worse, attendants sometimes allow people behind you to move ahead without any clear reason, which adds to the frustration. To make things worse, we waited around 30 minutes for one ride, only for it to break down just as we were nearing the front. Everyone was then forced to leave the queue and try another ride, adding to the already crowded lines elsewhere. The ride was not operational again for at least another 20 minutes, which sums up the lack of efficiency across the park. The entry process sets the tone for the day. As you enter, the entire queue is halted for a “mandatory” photo opportunity. This appears to be purely a commercial tactic to sell overpriced photos later, and it significantly slows down entry. Ironically, when you reach the photo point, it is possible to walk straight through, making the whole delay feel unnecessary and poorly managed. Overall, Siam Park feels overcrowded, overpriced, and overly focused on extracting additional money at every opportunity. While the rides themselves are decent, the long waits, confusing queue rules, and aggressive upselling make it difficult to enjoy the experience. For the price paid, the value simply is not there

Siam Park

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear that the day did not feel like good value and that the experience fell short of expectations. Siam Park is a very popular park, and during peak periods demand can be extremely high, similar to other leading theme and water parks around the world. That success can unfortunately bring longer waiting times, especially for the most popular attractions. Our Fast Pass options are designed to help guests make the most of their visit, but they do not remove all waiting entirely, particularly on the busiest days, and we understand how frustrating that can feel when expectations are different. We also regret that aspects of queue flow, ride availability and the arrival process affected the enjoyment of your visit. Safety checks and technical pauses are sometimes unavoidable, but we appreciate that communication and management in those moments are very important. Your comments have been noted, as they help us identify where the guest experience can be improved. Regarding photography and additional services, these are optional, but the process should never feel like an unnecessary obstacle at the start of the day. We will pass this on to the relevant team. We are disappointed that your visit left this impression, as our aim is always to offer a memorable day with high standards of service, safety and enjoyment. Thank you again for taking the time to explain your experience; feedback like this is valuable for our ongoing improvements.
