Good in some parts - not in others

We went in here with an open mind to everything. The overall visit was good however we had to rate average as we feel the zoo/main animal aspect (everything aside from the water animals) were lacking. Things like the gorillas and lions were cool but there was a lot of the same enclosures all the way around which felt like we was just seeing the same stuff all around. Also we was sold this by a rep as a zoo however it is very bird heavy compared to lots of other animals. However… a big however, the water animals like the dolphins and sea lions were amazing the shows for these are so worth going to and in our mind the main attraction, really great for kids or adults and was the best bit of the entire day! The whale show was good, but the others were a bit more elevated, even though they educated everyone on the whale issues they have in the wild and the troubles they face and what they offer to help I do feel like the whales were not compensated well for what they were expected to do or where they were living. They were incredible to see however I do still feel after watching this most should be in the wild and not in places like this.
