Superb aquarium, possibly the best I’ve been to
This is an outstanding aquarium both in terms of what you can see but also the general visitor experience. The highlight has to be the enormous curved screen tank, well worth taking a chance to chill at as there are seats, and I guarantee you will end up jumping up to take photos at some point if you allow yourself 10 mins here! But there is so much else to see, and I was very pleasantly surprised to find several species I had never encountered before with the pig-nosed turtles, humped cichlids, mudskippers and sea dragons being the ones I most remember, along with what I think were the largest rays I have ever seen too. In terms of visitor experience, I was impressed by the sheer number of toilets throughout the aquarium (6 distinct sets) and that there were two places to get food/drink within the aquarium itself, both very useful for anyone but especially those with children. There is an audio guide but information signage is generally in Spanish and English and the touch screens near tanks have German too, so we didn’t use it. Highly recommended!
