Very picturesque but not sure about the ethics of the animal shows.

Enjoyed the park, very well kept & lots to see and do. Really, really picturesque. The penguin enclosure was a real highlight, the moving stand on belt caught me a bit off guard but a great feature. Coral kingdom was also a favourite. Watched the Orca, Dolphin, & Sea Lion shows which to be honest made me a bit uncomfortable and in hindsight I actually regret being in the audience a bit. It’s just not natural for them is it? But it really did seem that the trainers had bonds with the animals and they pushed the narrative of it all being about conservation a lot so I really don’t know what to think. Seemed to me like the parrots etc needed more space and some of them were knawing at the bars of the cages. It was all very well sign posted to the different areas, food in the restaurant we went in was a bit weird, pizzas were overly floury & not particularly hot. If you want to get a particular souvenir you need to really get it at the shop by the animal enclosure, we wanted some bits but thought we’d get them in the main shop at the end but it turned out to be a very small shop (with massive queues) and it did not stock all the stuff from the smaller shops by the enclosures. Bird bit was really nice, they are missing a trick not selling the pots of nectar to feed the Lorakeets like at Longleat, UK.
