Poor first experience
First of all, I’ll start with the positives. Siam Park is a beautiful water park, and the rides we managed to go on were fantastic. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. The biggest disappointment was the attitude of some of the staff. As soon as your ring reached the bottom of a ride, staff were shouting things like “Get out, get out!” and rushing people off the rings. I completely understand that the park is busy and they need to keep the queues moving, but there’s a way to do that without coming across as abrupt or rude. Another issue was finding our way around the park. While there are fixed maps, we found them difficult to follow, and there simply aren’t enough directional signs. We spent more time than we should have trying to work out where things were. Security also seemed to be lacking. We saw children running around causing chaos, bumping into older guests and showing little respect for others, all while security staff were nearby and did nothing. The park also clearly states that smoking and vaping are prohibited, yet we saw numerous people smoking and vaping throughout the day. Even more concerning, we witnessed people openly smoking cannabis with security staff in the area, and again, no action appeared to be taken. Overall, we paid a lot of money to visit Siam Park, but the experience was so disappointing that we left after just three hours. Would I return? Maybe. I’m hoping this was just an unusually bad day because the park itself has so much potential. However, after this experience, it certainly wouldn’t be at the top of my list to visit again.
Siam Park
We are sorry that your first visit did not reflect the welcoming, well-organised day out we aim to provide. While it is encouraging that you enjoyed the park’s setting and attractions, it is clear that several aspects of the experience fell well below expectations. Our teams must keep ride operations flowing safely and efficiently, but this should always be done with clear, respectful communication. Your comments about the manner in which guests were addressed will be shared with the relevant operational managers. We also appreciate the feedback on wayfinding. A large park should be easy to navigate, and we are continually reviewing signage and guest information to make moving between areas more intuitive. Most importantly, the behaviours you observed are not permitted at Siam Park. Smoking, vaping and any use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited, and all guests are expected to respect the safety and comfort of those around them. We take this feedback seriously and will pass it to our Security team for review, as visible and consistent enforcement is essential. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to understand where your day went wrong. We hope a future visit will allow us to provide the enjoyable experience that the park is known for.
