Fun but overcrowded

Family of four visited yesterday. We arrived about an hour after opening already with tickets and queued to get in, not too long and wasn’t too bad but it was really busy outside. When you go in you are shoe horned into a narrow walkway where your picture is taken that you can then buy later. No issue with this if it didn’t cause a bottle neck of people trying to just get in. We walked straight to the Orca show, waited 15 mins and then they started letting people in. It’s clear when you go to this show how many people they are allowing into this relatively small park at a time. The time it took to go in and out of the show was twice as long as the show itself. The walkway out of the show is 2/3 people wide and there are perhaps a couple of thousand people in there at one time. It was uncomfortable and borderline dangerous feeling at times. The rest of the park is the same, animal enclosures are clean and the animals and attractions are great and even the prices for food are reasonable for a park but it was too busy to enjoy properly. We had to walk past several enclosures without even trying to see the animals because they were already 3 people deep. There needed to be half the amount of people there at least to enjoy it as it should be which was a shame. They don’t seem to enforce any limits on guests and all this does is make the experience unpleasant for the people there. This would have been a 4/5 star review if that had been the case.

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. We are pleased that you found the animal habitats well cared for, but we are sorry that the visitor flow affected your family’s day. Feeling comfortable and able to move around safely is essential, particularly around presentations and busy pathways. Your comments about the entrance photo area and access routes near the Orca presentation are valuable, and we will share them with the relevant teams as we continue to review the guest experience.
