Queues, upselling and no water safety!!

I’ve no idea how Siam Park is no1 on Tripadvisor with 4.4 when other attractions are rated higher?? Even so a 4.4 is a joke this place is shocking. First up the upsell. Huge queue to get in (no bag checks though??) then another huge queue for what we eventually found was a photo op! Then 30 min queue for lockers and when finally an hour after arriving you think you might actually (shock horror) get wet, you see the queues for all slides are 90+ minutes. Or you can of course buy the 99 euro per person ‘fast pass’ which is so oversold the fast pass is 40 mins?! And you can’t use it at loads of slides or the lazy river. If you fancy a horrible overpriced burger it’s another 20+ min queue too. The park safety is non existent, no way would I take my kid here. The wave pool is ridiculously dangerous with people landing on top of each other whilst the lifeguard chatted to another member of staff. The lazy river was so packed people were having to get out and try to push through the rings to leave. The toilets were filthy, utterly filthy and the park was full of miserable people complaining about the queues. We left after an hour after trying and failing (due to the obvious safety issues) to go in the wave pool. Don’t bother. The beach is free and ten times better!!
