A fantastic day at Loro Parque!

We had a wonderful day at Loro Parque! There was so much to see and we saw a huge variety of animals. A real highlight for us was the orca, dolphin and sea lion shows, which were fantastic and definitely made the visit memorable. We were also pleasantly surprised by the prices of the food and ice cream, which were very reasonable compared with zoos and attractions in the UK. The main downside, and something we agree with other reviews on, was how overcrowded the park was. Coming out of some of the shows, particularly the orca show, you are funnelled through a very narrow and dark aquarium area, which became extremely congested. We experienced something similar after the dolphin show, with large crowds trying to pass through the area by the tigers. It was manageable for us as adults in our 20s, but we can imagine it being more challenging for visitors with mobility issues or young children. Aside from the overcrowding, we really enjoyed our visit. There was plenty to see, the park was easy to spend a full day exploring, and the shows were a real highlight. We would definitely recommend a visit!
