Best Aquarium We've Been To

An amazing way to spend a couple of hours. It's very easy to get to, there is a bus station about a 5-10 minute walk away. There is such a variety of fish to see here, as well as some amphibians and reptiles throughout. It's divided into 3 separate sections with plenty of exhibits in each, there is plenty for everyone to see and do. The main highlight has to be the massive curves wall where you could see into the shark exhibit. It was amazing! We easily spent half an hour in this section alone just watching the sharks, turtles and fish. We pre bought tickets online, which I think does work out slightly cheaper than paying on the day, plus you get to skip the ticket queue which is a bonus. For a random Monday, it actually felt surprisingly busy, with plenty of families visiting. But as long as you're patient, you get ample time to see everything. The whole building is wheelchair accessible, with a lift to the first section and ramps the rest of the way around. And there is so much seating around in pretty much every section. We didn't try the restaurant so can't comment on that but we got drinks at the Nemo Snack Bar and they were reasonably priced for a tourist attraction. All in all, it was a great day out and we would gladly return.
