Seeing The Actual Animals [ Not Birds ] Was Upsetting
This is primarily a zoo of Parots and Birds with a few animals thrown in to titivate the children. Any 4 year old can be persuaded to call this the best zoo in the world, but adults, NO. There was one poor Lion all on its own in an enclosure of about 60 foot by 30 foot and it was enclosed in glass, so the poor thing only got fresh air from above. It was only possible to see the Sea Lions at some performing show, I lost the will to live looking for the poor Pantha, but judging by the Lion I doubt it fared any better. Whilst I am sure these chaps are good intentioned and devoted to birds, they should just stick to birds and no other animals. They really would not get away with this in England
