Unprepared

The best way I can describe the system of Siam park would be like a funfair where you wander round and go on whatever takes your fancy and it’s all spread out, it’s massive and it can be confusing, we wandered round for ages totally overwhelmed and exhausted with the heat and the walking and the inclines and it was hard for us to see it all. I will say I don’t think we had a clue what to expect and we seemed to be the only ones walking round with beach bags even though there were plenty of lockers to store your things and I think we expected it to be compact and we’d be able to sit and relax but it wasn’t like that, everyone was on the move all the time to the next slide and there were some great slides and daring ones but I’m a scaredy so I enjoyed the lazy river and the giant wave pool at Siam beach where you can relax on sun loungers and there is also a bar and food area and toilets nearby. I saw a lot of cleaners cleaning chairs and the shower area and lots and lots of lifeguards which is great to see. My 9 year old nephew enjoyed a slide or two. I would suggest the lost city area for smaller children and talking if being lost I will say for me with no sense of direction I got lost and keep a sharp eye on little ones because we lost him too but I think if we were to go again we’d be better prepared now that we know what to expect.

Siam Park

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful account. Siam Park’s scale and tropical layout can take a little getting used to, particularly on a warm day, and we appreciate that a clearer sense of the surroundings beforehand would have made your visit more comfortable. We are pleased that Mai Thai River offered a gentler moment to enjoy at your own pace. We hope any future visit feels easier to navigate and gives your family even more time to simply enjoy the day.
