Relax in comfort
Leave all your cares and worries behind when you enter the Botanico Hotel. We had a completely stress free 14 days, waited on hand and foot. Three excellent themed a la carte restaurants. (One reviewer complained that it was not "fine dining". What does he expect? This is Tenerife not Paris) This hotel will not suit everyone. No pool music, no Kiddies' Club, no overbearing Entertainments Manager. Instead a beautiful garden and an impressive Spa. The pool snack bar was a little disappointing. The clientele were mainly retired couples. The emphasis here is on luxury and comfort, not wild, exciting activities.The hotel is situated high on a hill above the town, next to the Botanical Gardens. There are a few decent restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance and there is a shuttle bus service down the hill into town. If your boredom threshold is low I would recommend a hire car for some of the time as there are great attractions within an hour's drive.
