Super Relaxing

Just came back from Puerto de la Cruz having enjoyed a lovely week at Hotel Botanico. As others have commented on, all members of staff are so helpful, they simply cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is situated up on the hill, just over one km from the town centre. A courtesy bus is available to take you down to the centre if you wish but to be honest, we enjoyed relaxing at the pool, or at the pool in the Spa area which is really lovely and also very quiet, that we didn't venture down too much. Hubby was very taken with the 18 hole putting green, being on there most days for a practice. This is just one of the facilities available which goes to making the stay very enjoyable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis so can't really comment on dinner but the breakfasts were very good with lots of choice available, really excellent. I would say that some of the corridors to the bedrooms are a bit tired but the rest of the hotel is lovely with lots of nice art work and beautiful flowers everywhere and the gardens of the hotel are stunning. All staff seem to work really hard to keep everything tip top. If you are going to Puerto de la Cruz I would highly recommend staying here as it is a lovely place to relax. We seldom go back to the same place but I would definitely like to return here for a nice bit or rest and relaxation.
