Hidden Gem

We stayed at the Hotel Botanico in the first week of June and absolutely loved it there. This Hotel is for people seeking a little peace and quiet with some pampering. The spa is lovely with 5 rooms to choose from. The scented steam room is amazing. You have access to endless cups of lemon tea and fresh apples. The pools are heated and there is a jacuzzi built to look like it is in a cave with large crystals set in the stone and relaxing music playing. The Hotel itself may seem a little old fashioned to most people but it is immaculate and the people who work there will make you feel like royalty. The only downside would be the restaurants in the surrounding area which closes out of season, so there is not a lot of choice but you can always head into town for a meal. You can also eat in the hotel restaurants, they are a little pricey but the service is excellent.and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting rest and relaxation.
