Good base
We stayed in July. Having arrived after a horrendous transfer from the airport we checked in and tried to dine at the Hotel's Italian restaurant. However we were turned away as I had shorts on. We ate at the pool restaurant. The Hotel is lovely and reception staff superb. The only thing that lets it down is a rather tired pool.Its clean but it really needs a refurbishment. The paving around the pool is also in need of a complete makeover. The spa/gym etc is the best I have experienced. Worth a stay if in the North of the Ireland. The Thai restaurant in the Hotel is good if a little pricy. The children loved the Hotel and feeding the fish in the Oriental garden. It's close to Lorro Park and and an hour for Siam Park. Plenty of good local restaurants and the taxis are cheap. We are booking for next year.

Dear David, thank you very much for choosing our hotel for yor recent stay and for your feedback, which we very much appreciate. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience regarding the dress code in our restaurants and bar hall. The aim is to maintain the elegant atmosphere and to meet most of our guests expectations and recommendations. As for the swiming pool, we plan to refurbe the main pool area. However, we do not yeat have a seted date as this project involves major works and time and the tranquility and comfort of our customers is a must for us and should under no circumstance be tarnished.
