5th Stay and Wonderful as Always

My wife and myself have just come back from our 5th stay in this very relaxing hotel. The staff at the Hotel Botanico are excellent, all so friendly, they all go out of their way to ensure you have a great holiday. A special mention goes to Toni in Reception, Jan in the Thai Restaurant and Raluca (hopefully spelt correctly) in the Spa. The style of the hotel is fairly old fashioned, very relaxing and comfortable rather than modern and slick, which suits if you want to feel at home, chill and relax like we do! We always go half-board and have dinner in one of the three restaurants in the hotel each night. Our favourite was the Thai closely followed by the Spanish. The Thai staff are fantastic and the food is consistently excellent, really authentic. We are both choosy and critical when it comes to food. The Spa is really lovely (the gym could do with some new machines) and the Yoga and Tai chi classes are excellent. The hotel has its own pleasant gardens which are kept to a high level of maintenance and include a large lake with loads of koi carp and black swans. We love this hotel and will definitely be back, sooner than later in my book.
