Wow Factor!!

Where do I start with this beautiful Hotel? I can honestly say this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the warm greeting when we arrived where we were given a cold juice to welcome us to the smooth check-out it was a wonderful place. Our room overlooked the pool and gardens, it was on the 2nd floor. The room decor was lovely and the beds were so comfortable. there was plenty of room for our clothes and there was a spacious balcony. However there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room so we had to order them separately but they arrived as requested every morning. The staff cannot do enough for you from the reception to the housekeeping to the restaurant staff. We had a few minor issues we had to bring to the attention of housekeeping but these were soon rectified and we received a bottle of fizz for our trouble. The food is exquisite....we dined in the Italian restaurant and although it was a little pricey the food was divine with top class service. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and plentiful, we ate outside every morning and although it could get very busy we always got a table very promptly. The Spa area is amazing. All guests can use the spa circuit as part of their stay. I preferred to use the outside pool in the spa area as it was more relaxing and away from the main hotel area. All guests receive robes and slippers to wear when they use the spa area.Both my husband and I had massages while we were there and they were very professionally done and very good. The gardens are absolutely wonderful and an oasis of calm and tranquility. I particularly loved the little touches like the aviary in the dining area and the many Buddha and elephant statues and bird ornaments. There is free wifi access for all hotel users which was speedy and on the whole easy to access. I absolutely loved this hotel and really didn't want to leave after the week we spent there. I really don't usually single out staff when Ive enjoyed the experience as a whole and as I mentioned all the staff were so helpful and friendly but I would personally like to thank Nadine at the reception desk who was so lovely and helpful and always remembered us and had a smile. She was so professional and had perfect English which made our life a little easier and our stay that little more special Sebastian also went out of his way to help. Thank you for the wonderful memories Hotel Botanico. We will definitely revisit this hotel next time we go the Tenerife.
