High Class Hotel
Really nice hotel ; friendly and efficient staff and excellent Thai Restaurant . Gardens very pleasant . You want a Garden view room overlooking Mt Teide , balcony [ quite small ] but with good view and sun most of the day [ SW facing ] . Good access to Town with Hotel's own minibus making regular trips to and fro . Back up the hill can be hard work on foot . Plenty of restaurants locally as well . The only snag about Puerto is the cloud cover - we have been twice at different times and it can be a bit disappointing if you want constant sun .The Spa Pool is down some steep steps , not good for old / disabled . Also the transfer from Tenerife Sud takes an hour and is therefore expensive ; but a great place when you are there .

We are very sorry for the problems with five steps, to get to the Spa pool. Puerto de la Cruz have one of the best climates in the world, with smooth temperatures all year long, the clouds allow to have the green landscape and the special flora that define the North of Tenerife. If you come to visit again maybe will be better for you to arrive at the North Airport in direct flight through Madrid or Barcelona. Products used in all our Restaurants are fresh and highest quality, the dishes are prepared on the spot and our Restaurants "à la carte" offers excellent service in an elegant and refined atmosphere.
