Lovely quaint hotel!

We only stayed one night but found the experience very relaxing. We were greeted at the entrance with a drink and check in was easy, we were taken to our room. We booked a standard room as this was part of the spa package- the room was spacious enough with a balcony looking out to sea. Only negative in the room, it had no dressing table to sit and get ready and the bathroom was a bit dated- very small bath with shower overhead which wasn't very powerful. Also the selection of toiletries wasn't very good quality and no conditioner. We did see a ambassador room and this was massively different with separate showers so if we came again we would upgrade to this. We found the outside area lovely pools were fab- we only used the spa pools and these were great as was the spa itself. We had a massage which was nice but maybe not up to the standard you might expect, mainly in terms of room setting and ambience. Breakfast was great with so much to choose from plus omelette cooked to order. We ate in the Oriental restaurant on the night which was fab- great Thai food. We found the food and drinks very reasonable for a 5 star hotel. It is a very traditional hotel with old school charm, maybe doesn't have all the amenities of a more modern 5 star hotel but I would come back!
