October Half Term
A lovely hotel which was perfect for a half-term getaway. Room overlooked the pool area and was just brilliant. No complaints here, and the turn-down service was a throw back to yesteryear, and times gone by when Service was everything! Facilities wise, there really can't be any complaints. Adult only spa! Tennis courts! Koi filled ponds. Putting green (not as cheesy as it sounds...it was quite testing and wonderfully maintained!) Lovely(ish) restaurants...which I won't pass judgement on as it was towards the end of the season and were quiet. But the food was quality. Breakfast is an ABSOLUTE must. Wonderful selection of pretty much anything you want! Prepare to spend about 90mins there, not because of bad service, but because you just don't need to leave. People have moaned about the 'olde worlds' standards of service, but it's clearly a hotel that has to cover a lot of demographics, and is sticking to what it knows. Would recommend this place, defo.
