Excellent second visit to the Hotel Botanico
We enjoyed our first visit to the hotel even though the weather wasn't brilliant. This time there was sunshine every day, and the evenings were warm enough to sit outside. Yes the hotel is traditional and slightly old fashioned, however this means the service is excellent, the ambience is charming, and nothing is too much trouble. On arrival the clientele were 60+ but as Christmas approached, families with young and teenage children arrived. This did not detract from the atmosphere of the hotel, and it was good to see all age groups enjoying themselves. The spa is fantastic and treatments good. We really enjoyed the oriental Thai. We would like to return in the future.
