Wonderfully Caring Staff....Superb Hotel.

This was probably about our 25th visit to this outstanding hotel which rightly is listed as one of the ' Leading Hotels of the World'. Unfortunately I became very unwell in the early part of my stay and required attention in one of the local private hospitals ..Hospiten Bellevue. Gustavo Escobar, the very efficient Manger of Botanico personally arranged for me to be seen by his own wife's consultant and also arranged for an interpreter to assist me. Hospital was state of the art, consultation and ultrasound examination were highly professional and helpful and curative medication was duly prescribed. A new diet was recommended and the staff in the breakfast room went out of their way to make certain that such things as almond and soya milk, fresh mango juice and other items were readily available. Their care and concern was absolutely first class as was the attitude of Susanna, PR Manager and the entire reception team. Special mention must go to Anne Marie, Director of the Oriental Spa who organised helpful treatments ...reiki and relaxing massages...and who was genuinely concerned that my health would greatly improve prior to returning to Scotland. If you MUST be ill then Botanico is the place to be if you want to be cosseted and cared for superbly. Weather during our 16 night stay was wall to wall sunshine...around 75 F. each day. The hotel may not be beautiful or indeed even attractive from the OUTSIDE but walk INSIDE and you will know beyond any doubt at all that Gustavo Escobar has surrounded himself with the most wonderfully caring staff that my wife and I have ever encountered anywhere in Europe. That is why we are looking forward to further stays in March / April, May / June, September and November of this year. We simply cannot wait to return to our ' second home'. Very highly recommended.
