Relaxing, relaxing, relaxing

We enjoyed a lovely eight days at Botanico, with a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean. Breakfast superb - so much choice and all fresh. Staff amazing throughout hotel, including the cleaning staff and standard. We ate twice in hotel - food ok., but not special. It's a shame that the restaurants are so empty - they are truly beautiful places. We found the evening entertainment to be loud, intrusive and quite 'kareoke', and at odds with the environment. Service also tends to be slow in lounge. The gardens are gorgeous and divided in a way that you felt quite private when sunbathing. Again, pool staff lovely and most helpful. I noticed that there is a full programme of events for children. However this hotel appears more suited for the 'mature' person - though I am sure that the staff would do everything to make families welcome and at home. We will definitely return.
