Hotel excellent, food???

We were placed here by our airline because of a flight delay so some allowance is needed due to our short notice arrival on mass, two coach loads. Rooms were very good and spacious although the old fashioned shower adaption on the bath taps was in need of attention. The place is huge and very well equipped with lots of facilities and the gardens are very pleasant. The staff were also very helpful when needed. However the food we got on our first night was not that great, with small portions of lukewarm vegetables and under cooked meat. Next day the buffet breakfast and lunch were of a different class and could not be faulted. Its not that close to the sea front and there was very little information about the town or area in the hotel foyer though.
