Beautiful hotel, great spa but service not consistent
The hotel is truly beautiful and charming and the spa is fabulous. I cannot give 5 stars due to an appalling evening wasted in the Italian restaurant. Food was OK but the service was awful. The maitre d' apologised and said she agreed service had been a problem all night and it was because of new staff, a 5 star hotel should not be allowing untrained staff to wait on tables. In the Thai restaurant service was somewhat better but not fine dining. We ate out and about and did not eat in the hotel any more which was not a problem as there were many eateries and restaurants around.

First of all I apologize as we were unable to meet your expectations with "Il Pappagallo Restaurant", usually, we receive many compliments about the service and the cuisine that has been awarded on occasion. Like with other reviewers when they praise the service at the restaurants of the hotel we celebrate; when we don´t exceed the service we learn from it and improve.
