Three days stay at the hotel
We stayed a few days at the hotel botanico before travelling to Barcelona. The hotel has a charming atmosphere - you know the old, nice feeling of a luxurious hotel before getting too old -. The staff is very friendly and good. They have a lot of apprentices speaking English or German fluently. The rooms are cosy. The breakfast is really good. And the Internet works everywhere in the hotel and is fast. The Spa is worth spending a few hours there and just relax. Teenagers under 16 and children are not allowed in the Spa area. The only negative point is that we got the impressions from upper management that children are tolerated but not really welcome. Remarks from high management, the hidden child day care seem to confirm it. The staff tries to compensate but without a clear statement of the hotel it is difficult. They should either decide to welcome children or clearly state they do not want to have them.
