A lovely weekend
I always love staying at this hotel and they have made a few improvements since I was last there. a nice separate shower has now been added to the bathrooms and lovely mattress toppers. There has definitely been some excellent staff training as well, as everyone we came across were really polite and helpful and came across as being really happy; particular thanks to Isabel who managed to find some earrings I forgot and got them back to me safely. the only reason I didn't give 5* is the restaurants still leave a bit to be desired. The pool bar we enjoyed but the Italian restaurant not so much, I probably had the worst suckling pig I've had on the Island, very little meat & lots of fat and my fiends lasagna looked like a undercooked ready meal. Our husbands both enjoyed their meals but still not the best - the service was excellent even though we complained about the lasagna. we still come back and stay because the spa is also amazing but please improve the restaurants so we don't have to travel further afield to eat out, particularly when the wonderful Lucas Maes is on your doorstep.
