Excellent hotel on many levels

Room is adequate a little on small. Layout however good as we have been to many trendy hotels that feel cramped. Bathroom size great. We requested firmer mattresses and they immediately accommodated and the pillow selection as well was available. Balcony faced ocean I'm sure garden view would be great as well. The garden provides a sense of serenity. Spa area is quite the treat although my husband I only used it for treatments. Massages great, they have different types of steam rooms and pools. We did half board and the Italian restaurant was very good and staff were very accommodating as I have dairy allergies. Plenty of food;service outstanding. Christine the bar Stewart was amazing. Josi and many other wait staff such as Sergio and Angel. Suzanne manager was on the ball.Medeteranian restaurant not as good hence we ate there once. Front desk staff top notch Breakfast buffet best I have seen. Juices, various nuts seeds, breads different fruits etc when there weren't any clouds you could see volcano. Must see the drive up and taking the vernacular to the top was very spiritual/awesome. Many hikers and bikers. Drive winding roads. Down the hill from hotel quaint town. We drove the whole island, south is equivalent to the over developed part of Fort Lauderdale with many people driving vehicles that appear in grocery stores. Our hotel I feel was the best location. The drive north was amazing as well. Overall this made Tenerife very special.
