Young children and babies - great stay

Read a lot on here about this place not being kiddie friendly, which almost put us off booking but this was totally not the case. When we arrived it was our sons first year birthday so we were presented with little cuddly toy gifts for each child. There was a baby pack with Johnsons baby products and a cute rubber duck waiting for us in the bathroom plus a great babysitting service. The kids club was second to none and the stuff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome there. The hotel itself is perfect for babies and small children as there's so much open space everywhere- both inside and out- which feels luxurious in itself. The place is also like a museum with so much art and old artefacts everywhere. The gardens are beautiful and the kids loved just looking at the swans and koi carp. It's not modern but then again 5 star slick establishments with no character are everywhere- this place was really different and something special.
