Superb setting - most relaxing holiday ever

We were there with our 2 young teenage daughters and had adjoining double rooms so it was perfect. It gave us all some privacy but also felt like we were all together. Rooms were lovely with a balcony and view of the pool with the mountains in the distance - breathtaking scenery! Both the main pool and the spa pool are a good size for a proper swim, though of course the spa pool side was much quieter and so we favoured this one most days. Everything is clean and fresh and set in lush green gardens, with ponds full of coy carp. However the complex is not really set up for wheelchair access and as I'd had an accident before my holiday, I found getting around the hotel pool and bar areas rather difficult - there is no ramp access to the pools. Having said this, the staff were wonderful and appeared at my side as if by magic every time I looked like I needed help, which meant I was still able to access the pool and have a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. All 4 of us agree that our stay was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we have had for a very long time. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again. I can also recommend hiring a car via hotel reception as they only charge a few extra euros and the car is delivered to the hotel for you. The south of the island (Siam Park, etc) is only a 1 hour drive in a car and is well worth a visit (most coach tours take 2 hours). I would like to say a huge thank-you to all of the hotel staff for looking after me (the lady with the knee scooter!). :0)
