Outstanding Hotel and Service

This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel and the service is outstanding. The staff on reception were exceptional and dealt with all our requests in a friendly manner even from the requests we made by email before we had visited the hotel. The breakfast cannot be faulted in terms of quality or range of options. Simply outstanding. We only used one of the restaurants in the evening, the Oriental which was excellent if a little pricy at 110 euros for a meal for two with a bottle of wine but not unusual for a 5 star hotel. The gardens are pristine and without compare in any other hotel that we have stayed in anywhere in the world. This really is a place to come and relax and chill out. There are a number of restaurants near to the hotel with varying food quality and usually of the pizza and pasta variety. There is however a nice small but perfectly formed restaurant directly opposite the Botanico gardens entrance called Oliva. We ate there on our second night and every night for the rest of the stay (except Thursday when it is closed. Excellent place which I have reviewed separately). Beds are a bit firm and twins rather than doubles and the hotel is very quiet at night. I reviewed the hotel back in 2013 and if anything the hotel and service have improved. We are already thinking about when we can next come back.
