Relaxing stay at Hotel Botanico and The Oriental Spa Garden

This was a good place to stay during our visit to Puerto De La Cruz. The hotel staff were, indeed, very helpful (as indicated in previous reviews). The room and bathroom were spacious and kept clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food (even Prosecco on a Sunday morning and a chocolate fountain for those inclined to indulge in such things - hopefully not at the same time but each to their own). There are 3 restaurants in the hotel which we tried out once. The food was good enough but we felt that more choice and culinary adventure was to be found in Puerto De La Cruz. The amenities in the hotel were great - they seem to accommodate most people's interests from being able to relax by the pool to using spa facilities to exercising in the gym to playing tennis and the list goes on..... The bar service seemed a bit chaotic at times and we were left waiting to be served one evening - it was busy but no-one acknowledged our presence and we eventually walked back to our room without having been served. Overall this would not put us off returning to the Hotel Botanico and The Oriental Spa Garden if we were to come back to Puerto De La Cruz. It provided us with the peace and relaxation that we were seeking.
