Beautiful grounds

2nd time here. This time chose a suite as the basic rooms are quite pokey. Hotel is very good, staff are very friendly and helpful. Gardens, although not huge, are lovely and brilliantly maintained. Unfortunately, because of the spa suite, the place is full of wealthy older people hovering around in dressing gowns and slippers (it is not the older people I am getting at! Just the dressing gowns- trying to give you a picture). Food at the bar is very good, and the hotel does the hotelly type things very well ie dégustations of canarian wine, cheeses etc etc. They do evening cabarets too (but that is not my thing). A long steep walk into the town, but hotel has a bus. Lots of places to eat outside too. Expensive, but good.
