Hotel Botanico is a gem

My wife and I stayed at the Botanico the two last weeks of October (2016). It was the 9th time we went to Puerto de la Cruz and October was an excellent choice, much sunshine and agreeable temperature. We had booked an ambassador suite (216) which faced north including splendid views of the town and the Atlantic. The balcony did not catch much sun because of this, entering around 1800. The services of the hotel were kept at a high standard, generous and numerous staff and lots of space. We did not see one sign with 'out of order' giving proof of the high standard of maintenance. We used most of the services, the spa, the gardens and the restaurants. The pool restaurant is clearly the best and a great asset. It is easy to find restaurants in the town which matches the standard of the other three. When winter gets cold, frosty and wet here on the northern fringe of Europe, the Botanico will be a very tempting refuge. Thank you all!
