A wonderful oasis

This is a 5* hotel and looks and feels like one. From the welcoming drink on arrival to the luggage service on departure everything went very smoothly They even noticed that one of us had a birthday and provided Cava at breakfast and then decorated the bedroom with balloons, chocolates, a bottle of cava and a cake. One can relax in the gardens or by the pool or in the spa or in the evening in the bar with waiter service. There are 3 restaurants for the evening; Spanish; Oriental and Mediterranean . In addition the hotel owns an American Steakhouse down the road.I would particularly recommend the oriental. Bedrooms face either the sea or ,the gardens and all have balconies. If you leave the premises then there is Mount Teide to take a lift up to or the old towns of La Laguna or La Orotava to visit or Parque Taoro which is far more than a parrot park. All are accessible by taxi or public transport if you have not hired a car.
