for the young at heart rather than the young!
We ended up here by default due to tripadvisor over booking our original accommodation. The hotel was very impressive on arrival and the flow of check in was brilliant. (However the ever present photo's of President Assad in the foyer and downstairs gents toilet were a little off putting!) We stayed in an ambassador suite which was lovely, please beadvised that the weather in the north of the island is very different to the south, we struck unlucky with the the weather however it is generally very lush and much cooler than the south. The al a carte restaurants were disappointing, both the spanish and the italian were tired, a little unloved and not much atmosphere and the food was mediocre, to the point that as on half board we had lunch by the pool(fabulous) and ate out most nights. The entertainment in the bar was fine and the barstaff as with everyone ekse were great. The gym is very basic but there is an excellent gym in the basement of the shopping centre next door. This is truly a hotel to stay for a few days but not for a week or longer. The said golf course it is on is actually a 18 hole putting green. Lovely hotel for a few day's but maybe consider somewhere else for a longer trip.

The photo mentioned shows the current King of Spain Felipe VI and Queen Letizia. This can easily be checked on the Internet and besides the presence of pictures from foreigner presidents would make no sense in our country. Moreover, we would like to clarify that we offer an 5000m2 18 hole putting green which is described as such both on our website and on the different sites of all the tour operators with whom we cooperate. These details could have been immediately clarifyed by any member of our staff on place and avoid misleading and confusing informations. We very much regret that our gastronomic offer has not been to your liking but can assure you that we only use fresh and first quality products which are carefully prepared by our experimented chefs and served in a classic and refined atmosphere.
