Best vacation ever

My wife and I spent week there, and almost everything was perfect. The staff made some mistakes during our stay (eg. wrong dish, delayed foods) but that's what will happen with people, we make mistakes. The way which the mistakes were taken care of was excellent, and we can't complain about anything. The staff was really caring and service-oriented. We wanted to spend the week by relaxing and spending time together, so we booked Ambassador Junior Suite with half board. Room was great, the only minus was bed, but I think we can blame ourselves since we didn't ask for double bed, we got two separate beds, and since we're newlyweds, we still sleep really close to each other. Restaurants were good, we preferred the La Parilla, the Spanish restaurant. The atmosphere was great, the food was great and the service deserves endorsements. The Italian restaurant, La Pappagallo, was more basic restaurant. They offer simpler foods, and this is better choice if traveling with kids. You can get basic pastas and pizzas, but steaks are also good. The Asian restaurant The Oriental was an asian restaurant. I actually don't like asian food that much, so I'm not the right person to say anything about the food. Ask someone who eats asian food (excluding sushi) more than once a year. We went there just because we wanted to try everything. You can also get some food by the pool during daytime, we ate twice. Actually on our first day we booked our dinner at 19:15 since we were hungry, and thought that we could eat something small, we took sandwiches. I still disagree with their name, those sandwiches were actually quite large lunches, and we had to postpone our dinner for couple hours so we could actually eat something at the dinner too. Spa was positive surprise, it's actually a spa, not couple of pools which hotel calls spa for marketing reasons. They have three steam rooms for different temperatures, which are good for relaxation. They're actually called saunas, but since we're finns, we have an different definition of sauna. I also had to use the business center at the hotel, and facilities for that are great. Silent room with computers and high speed internet helped me with one project. I'm actually quite surprised if we won't return there at some point. What I'd do differently next time would be asking for double bed and skipping the dinner at The Oriental. And of course arranging my calendar so that I wouldn't need to do any work during the vacation I definitely would recommend this place for anyone who want's to spend an relaxing holiday.
