Special hotel with amazing gardens and spa area in a good location.

From the minute we arrived the staff were very attentive and helpful. The room, we had one facing west over the main pool and gardens towards the mountains, was very good, clean with all usual amenities including shower plus bath etc and a large balcony great for the evening sun. Restaurants and menu was ok and our favourite restaurant of the three was the Italian, followed by the Oriental and finally the Spanish. The service in the Italian and Oriental restaurants was superb and not quite so good in the Spanish restaurant. Breakfast was amazing with just about everything you could think of, and made a brilliant start to the day. Amazing spa area with just about every activity catered for, and another pool area next to the gardens. The location was good, with about a 20/30 minute stroll down to the old town and touristy area. Hotel shuttle bus was good for getting back up the hill !!! Situated next to the Botanical gardens, which are worth a half day visit. All in all very enjoyable stay, and will probably return again.
