Mediterranean oasis with outstanding spa

The hotel is quite large but felt quiet and tranquil during July, even with quite a high occupancy. The facilities are excellent, and the botanical gardens are stunning. With a tropical feel, the hotel is Oriental themed and rooms are well appointed with traditional but luxurious decor. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The stunning over 16s Oriental Spa Garden was the highlight of the stay. It features a thermal circuit with laconium, steam, sauna, aromatherapy and ice rooms surrounding an inside heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. There is also an outside pool, hydromassage pool and jacuzzi all separate from the hotel swimming pool on the opposite side of the building. The hotel has three restaurants, although not all are open throughout the year and are mediocre albeit with good service and choice (at hotel prices). The pool snack bar (serves a full lunch menu) is good and makes for an enjoyable and leisurely lunch or drink under the outside gazebo surrounded by palms and the lush gardens. A distinctively Mediterranean five star experience which will leave you relaxed and rejuvenated.
