Oasis of Calm with amazing service

Short notice 5 day holiday. This was one of the best hotels we've stayed at. It is luxurious, spacious, attractive and provides exemplary service (e.g. the concierge put herself out to find somewhere I could watch the final match of the Lions rugby tour of New Zealand because the hotel itself doesn't have Sky Sports).The staff were consistently friendly and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is one of calm and peace. The building and gardens are very attractive, the spa excellent and the pool and sitting area spacious and well designed. The breakfast is a huge collection of every western food known to humanity (spoiler - slight exaggeration). The food is fairly expensive but there are a plethora of good restaurants in the surrounding area which are cheaper. The bar entertainment was not very impressive and poorly attended. The wifi is free but quite slow. We will go back
