Quality, experience and Luxury hotel – great Spa.

Stayed with my family – 3 adults in 2 rooms on a HB deal. The hotel is in a lovely part of North Tenerife – very close to the Botanical Gardens. If you land at Tenerife South airport its one hour away by Taxi. The hotel is situated in large botanical grounds with tennis courts, great Spa – two outdoor pools and one indoor spa pool, 2 Jacuzzis pools. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are nice, they have good quality fittings and furnishing, but they are worn – may need to refurbish soon. The cleaning staff are great – rooms are ultra clean, corridors and hotel areas all clean. Pillow menu is available so pick what you need ! Reception is good, well-staffed and if any queries go to Toni – very experienced and reliable. Customer relations is Susana Alba – very glamourous  very helpful too. I really enjoyed the pools – the Spa Pool area gets the most sun throughout the day, its lovely and quiet too. The Spa have many steam rooms – they give you a mini circuit card to do which really helps you to benefit from the different type of Steam room. Breakfast is great – lots of choice and great quality foods available in the morning. Omelet chef does get busy and you may need to wait. Fresh juices are available. As we were HB we had dinner in all the restaurants – all fantastic but my preference is 1) Thai 2) Spanish, 3) Pool Bar 4) Italian. – the food quality is very good, you choose a starter, Main and dessert – I was full every night. I found the Italian at bit pretentious and slow. Lots of restaurants outside which are good value for money, I have reviewed them too on TA. Wi-Fi was average 10MB down, 5MB up – sometime it does buffer – but its Free. If you want a good steak in a good location – go to Brunellis. I was on HB so received €20 per person off the final bill. It was still expense but the location was great. Get a voucher from the Hotel before you go. Hotel have a mini-van service to take you to Puerto De La Cruz. It great to wander around the town. Lots of restaurants and shops. Entertainment in the evening at the bar was elegant and classy – have seen a lot worse before. Drinks are so expensive. Try to do some of the scheduled events in the hotel – G&T making, Sangria making, Botanical garden tour etc – check the daily newspaper. This hotel is near Loro Parque - great park lots of fun ! I would give this hotel a 4.5 so it scraps into a 5.
