Amazing hotel and spa

This is an amazing hotel with a fantastic spa, nothing's ever too much trouble and the staff always aim to please. Both the hotel and room was spotless and fresh flowers were always evident. Slippers and bathrobes were provided for your use during your stay and the room had a lovely selection of quality toiletries. You can choose from a selection of pillows to suit your needs. The room included a safe and fridge for my use with fresh fruit in the room as well. The hotel has buffet style breakfasts with absolutely everything you could want. There are 3 restaurants for the evening meal Italian, Spanish and Thai booking is recommended. The food in these restaurants is cooked to order and is excellent. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with 2 lakes complete with koi carp, black swans and turtles. The spa area has 2 heated outdoor pools and a jacuzzi, indoors there is a selection of saunas, heated pool and jacuzzi. There is an extensive list of fantastic treatments available at an additional cost. There is a well equipped gym and a variety of classes to participate in such as yoga and tai chi. The hotel is close to the Botanical Gardens entrance fee is €3 and is well worth a visit. There is an Orchid Garden worth a visit only 20 mins walk away. It is a nice walk down to the sea front (all downhill) or you can use the free hotel minibus. A taxi would cost you €5. There are plenty of restaurants directly outside the hotel. The old part of town is worth a visit with many traditional Spanish style houses and buildings. Loro Park is also €5 taxi ride away which has an entrance fee. Included are lions, white tigers, penguins, dolphins, seals and orcas and of course a fantastic array of parrots. This hotel is an absolute gem.
